Since
1998, there have been five major recalls on infant and child
car seats---thats 10 million car seats that were thought
to be a safety risk by the manufacturers themselves. These product
defects have resulted in hundreds of reported cases of injuries
to infants. Some of these injuries have been extremely serious,
including skull fractures and concussions.
